The Women's Militia series and movement was started in 2018 and enacted by early 2020. As the much needed unity and representation of strong women was desired in our society the Women's Militia sought out to intersectionally unite women of varying backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, ages, races, and sexual orientations. In a society that's media and culture chooses to overlook women for their achievements and rather to downgrade them to their sexual desirability and their reproductive ability, we seek to show strong empowered women. Women who have fought their battles, who pursue their dreams, and who encourage one another. The women of the militia are warriors, survivors, and movement makers.
