About:
Jayden and Madi were a newlywed transgender couple that I encountered when I was in downtown Los Angeles while pursuing street Photography. Upon first meeting them I knew I wanted to paint them. Their Love was palpable and their combined style was interesting an innovative. I was instantly drawn to their funky hair and matching denim with all the patches. They agreed to let me photograph them, and I was able to captures this candid and seemingly intimate moment of them looking deeply into each other's eyes, and it really spoke to me. Amongst all the loud cars and people in the city, they managed to have this very quiet and very private moment.

About:
This painting is of a mother and son that I spotted while doing street photography in Cleveland's Little Italy. She wears a shirt with an inverted "Liberty" to reflect the current state of our liberties especially in regards to women's rights in the United States and asks the question as to what rights the child will have when he grows up.

About:
Kaylil reached out to me via the web to express his fondness of my painting Love. Love is a painting about a transgender couple, and he is also a transgender individual. Kaylil agreed to pose for me and his androgynous look and strong personality was a perfect subject for my work. My interest in the LGBTQ+ is rooted in an effort to help raise awareness of the beauty, love, life, and struggle of the individuals in that community.
